About the Calendar
SHARED CALENDAR:
The events for on all participating calendars are contained in a shared
database which is
located on our server. When you choose to view a calendar from one of the
participating
organizations, the information flows from this database into that specific web
calendar.
VIEWING OTHER CALENDARS:
Using a shared database allows the ability to call up events from different
organizations
in many locations. For example, when viewing the Greater West Chester
Chamber’s
calendar you can also populate it with events from West Chester Boro, Westtown
Twp,
East Bradford Twp, Etc.
NAVIGATION:
By clicking on any date, you will be launched into a screen with more detail,
images, and
links to get more information from the posting organization.
SCHOOL DISTRICT CALENDAR:
Because the West Chester Area School District has so many schools, they have a
separate
calendar dedicated to just their schools. However, there is a link at the
bottom of the
municipal calendars to launch into the schools calendar.
